Pet people: Help clean up the oil spill in the Gulf...

by donating your pet's fur!

Yep. You read that right. Pet fur and human hair are great at soaking up oil. So you can do your part to help by collection fur from your animals. You can find more information here.

I'll give you a few minutes to check it out.....

Cool isn't it? Since I have a vast amount of pets I thought I could do my part to help out. I've started collecting fur to send in. If you want to collect fur from your animals, I would be more then happy to send it in with mine. Collect the fur in a clean, plastic bag. When you have a good amount (a bag full or two or three....you get the picture) just let me know. We'll figure out a way to get the fur to me. When I have a box full of fur, I'll send it in.

If you think you can get enough of your own fur to send in feel free to! Just sign up on the website linked above. It's something very simple we can do to help clean up that mess!
