Charting/ long luteal phase
Hi Ladies!
I have been charting for a year and a half now and love it. This month however has been a little strange. I ovulated on CD 17 which is normal for me.But I didn't get my period till today which is 20 days after ovulation! My cycle this month was 37 days!
Normally my cycles run from 25-34 days but my luteal phase is always 12-15 days. I have only had one other cycle this long but that month I was under a lot of stress and my ovulation was delayed by a week. Also that month my luteal phase was still normal.
Has anyone else had a sudden longer than normal luteal phase?? I am worried that something is wrong.

Did your temps stay high all the way until you started bleeding?
I don't want to freak you out, but is it at all possible that you were PG and had a very early miscarriage (or, if the bleeding is not heavy, that it's just spotting)? 20 days is a pretty long LP. According to TCOYF, LPs longer than 18 days almost always mean pregnancy.

My temps were high until the day before my bleeding started. The bleeding was strange too. Yesterday I started spotting and then this morning was the same and then mid-day it started like normal period flow. Also, (this might be TMI) but I have been having small clots which I have never had before.
The whole thing is just really strange. It would of been difficult to get PG because the last time we had sex without a condom was 8 days before I ovulated. Everything else about my cycle was extremely normal too.
I was wondering if it could be an early miscarriage but I have no idea what the symptoms would be except bleeding.

but in response to the post. get checked it could have been an early miscarriage it is actually fairly common. good luck
