Borrowed Post... Mother's Day?
What are you buying your Mom/MIL's for Mother's Day?
MIL ??? thats DH's territory... if it were up to me I'd not get her anything (last year we gave her money to get a passport so she could come visit us - she's american & we're canadian - she just informed us last week that she had just got her enhanced licence.... so it took her a year to do this.... some mom!)
Step-MIL - I've bought a spa package for the two of us to enjoy together.
My mom - we'll be travelling to my hometown to visit her. I have a jewellry party to attend on Saturday, I'm hoping to pick something nice out for her there. Otherwise, she's renovating her bathroom, so I'll get her a gift card to help her splurge on her new bathtowels/accessories.

MIL: I have no idea. We'll have to pick something up on our way over to their place tomorrow. Obviously we're going to put a lot of thought into it. ::eyeroll::
My step-mom: I have never recognized my step-mother on Mother's Day, and I don't intend to start.
My mom: I sent her a card but I won't see her until next weekend, when she comes to visit for DS's birthday party. DH is taking Friday off work so my mom and I can go do something special together. Maybe something at a spa and lunch/tea somewhere??
MIL: nothing...she's not talking to DH and I & didn't even show up to DD baptism last Saturday....(that's a LONG story for another post)...ya nothing for her
Mom: I know she want's to change her bedroom theme and was going to check out Sears for a quilt-coverlette that she wanted...depending on the price! She has $$$$ taste
or a coffee machine (her's broke last week) Zellers has a Hamilton Beach 12cup on sale for $39.99 regular $89.99!
Grandmother: Some flowers.....we're all doing bruch at her house, it's only fair that we bring a *little* something for her too. She flips out if we spend money on her.
Mom- just bought a Wii so we're getting her another remote and Wii Resort. My brother wanted to take charge of the gift this years so I let him. Mom will be excited for games for us to play together.
MIL- we're going out for a nice brunch buffet and we'll pay for her meal.
FMIL - FH got her a gift card to night out at the movies.
Mom - Were making them brunch and then taking her to the greenhouse where we will buy her something of her choice.
MIL got a picture of DD, DH, and I. DH and SIL got her trees for her garden.
Mom got a card and an antique set of elephant salt and pepper shakers. She collects elephants and they were soo cute I had to get them.
