Mine was pretty great! Friday I went to a crawfish boil for the ULM Alumni with some friends. It was at a campground so it was really nice to just relax and enjoy watching Elise run around.
Saturday James started building me a pergola over our patio (I'll post pics when he's done).
Sunday he continued doing that. I made my Ambrosia knock off strawberry cake (it was fantastic!) and we boiled crawfish with the IL's (could have done without them!).
Re: how was your weekend?
The weekend flew but it wasn't as bad as I thought.
I ended up wasting time at the mall on Sunday b/c I had a lot of "free" coupons (i.e. $10 off $10 or more, etc.) to use, which rocks. I bought 2 shirts for $2 total, and I'm going to rip into them for a sewing project soon!
I tried that South of Philly place yesterday b/c BIL keeps pushing me to try it...I have to say, for the price, unimpressed.

Friday night I went to Geisha with my BFF. We sat at the sushi bar and had a blast.
Saturday we hung out around the house. DH has been working in the yard a lot lately getting the garden going. We went and ate at Little Village with my grandma for mother's day.
Yesterday was church, lunch at mom's house (the outdoor kitchen is SO NICE and almost done!! They should be wrapping up things inside in the next two weeks...party at my momma's house!). More chilling out at the house, then we had dinner at Sammy's with the other side of the family.
I have a doctor's appointment this morning, so I had to take half a day from work. Three more weeks!!
WHAT!?!?! I found their prices really reasonable for as huge as the sandwiches are....and I loooved it! What did you get?
A philly cheese with onion combo. I mean, $11 for that? It would have been $14 for the 12 inch. I can get a sit down meal for that price elsewhere. :

that's weird, I got the philly with all the fixings and it was only $7
The sandwich was $7 but with fries and a drink, ended up $11 after tax. I'm just cheap when it comes to eating out, I guess. :
