My boss just called me and she sounds sick as a dog! So she's not in today.
My first inclination is to stay inside all day watching tv and taking a nap. (plus, i wouldn't spend any money while at home!) But i know i should get out and do *something*! What would you ladies do with an impromptu day off?! ![]()
I'm also starting to get a bit worried, financially. I really like this job and i actually like being back in real estate, but i'm only working 20hrs a week, *if* that, and i sometimes get random days off cuz there's nothing to do. My boss is fully aware of our 20hr/week agreement, so we try to even it up a bit. But working this job (even though it's only 4hrs/day, 5 days/week) has made me lose my unemployment.
It's only a $77 dollar difference (not in my favor) when i work a full week...but i think i did that once in the last month!
Once i'm licensed i'll also make 10% of my boss's commissions, i have some money in savings and DH is still completely stable in his job, and i'm getting student loans someday soon...so technically all is well.
But i just worry.
Re: I have an impromptu day off!
I would worry too Meggie. How long till you get your license? Good luck!
Enjoy your day off. I would stay in under covers, it's cold out there (well to me anyway!)

ooh, if I had an impromptu day off...I would sleep :-) I didn't get much sleep this weekend, I'm tired!
Try not to worry about the money so much - those student loans are a lifesaver, let me tell you! We lived off DH's salary (which was entry level and very low at the time) and my student loans for three years while I was in law school
You don't need to worry until it is time to start paying them back :-(
