The good...
Lorelai got some work done yesterday---semi-organized the attic for yard sale stuff, holiday stuff, etc stuff... as well as organized herself! And she got in a super long walk, too...
The better...
Lorelai did the 5K walk and she's very thankful her mother is around and was able to do the walk with her. She is amazed at the number of people who also walked and how nice everyone seemed (with the exception of the Wawa tent where free coffee was in abundance and it was cold that day).
The best...
Lorelai is thankful her neighbor has returned from Iraq-safe and sound! His wife had a sign out Sunday and it must've been his second tour there. He's definitely an inspiration to the neighborhood!
The good - Cassie has Tom Yum soup for dinner last night. Her favorite!
The better - Cassie has less than three weeks of work left!!!! And she's seeing her work wife and husband-in-law for dinner at a sichuan hot pot restaurant on Friday!
The best - After moving, C and J are going on a mini-Vacation up to Maine. They are road tripping from Bar Harbor/Acadia to Portland. So excited. It'll be the perfect vacation for right now.
The Good - Sheri is doing very well with her new eating habits and it seems to so far be paying off. She was given a box of very expensive and delicious looking chocolates yesterday by a co-worker (who normally doesn't work IN the building, and also doesn't know her well), for Mother's Day (said co-worker apparently thinks Sheri has kids, probably because of pictures of her niece every where), but she was good and brought them home and gave them to her husband to eat and enjoy. This co-worker also apologized when she returned from her lunch break for getting Sheri those chocolate because he did not realize she could not eat them. Sheri also never told this co-worker that she is not a mother
when she accepted the chocolates, Sheri simply said "Thank you".
The Better - Sheri FINALLY gets to enjoy some time with her DH. They are going to the Red Sox game tonight thanks to Sheri's generous boss (not BL) and also Sheri's BL is actually going to let her leave extra early on Thursday to spend most of THAT day with her DH since he also has Thursday off. Sheri's BL told her she would've let her just take the whole day off but she has a early morning meeting at her daughters school that day and I would need to at least be at work to cover for her during the morning.
The Best - Sheri gets to get her party on on Saturday! Whoop whoop!

Hey, maybe they'll play better than the FREAKIN BRUINS! Grrrrrr. Seriously have NO idea who that was playing against Philly last night.
Cassie's family and extended family was very bummed about how the bruins played.
Good - Lauren got to take a wonderful nap yesterday afternoon.
Better - Lauren's DH is going out of town this weekend (a little sad about that, but happy he'll get a guys' weekend), and she gets to spend time with her parents and Bella.
Best - starting next week and if all goes well at her u/s Monday, Lauren and DH can finally share the news with everyone! Yay! She can't wait!
the good: Kristy's 31 weeks pregnant friend is still doing well - the meds are keeping lil troublemaker inside!
the better: Kristy has been working part time for said friend and having a blast. She feels so good to be working again! This is why she hasn't been nesting much.
the best: Kristy & DH have been SO happy lately, even more than usual. It's nice
ETA: Kristy also made another etsy sale yesterday! *does a happy dance*
The Good: Despite the health issues, Danielle has apparently made a very comfy home for her baby girl who has decided it is not necessary to leave!
The Better: Danielle received three garbage bags full of baby clothes from one of DHs coworkers!! Danielle didnt really need half this much baby clothes, so she took most of them to a women's shelter where she knew they would be put to good and immediate use (usually Danielle takes stuff to Goodwill, but she really didn't want them to be sold, she wanted them to go to someone who truly needed them and had no means to get them). It made her feel warm and fuzzy inside.
The Best: Danielles mom will be here on Saturday morning! Danielle can't wait to have her mom here!!!
The Good - Athena's DH surprised her by mowing the lawn before she got home yesterday. Athena was pretty sure she was going to have to do it.
The Better - Athena's dog is doing much better. It has been a week since Sam has thrown up. He is also back to eating regular dog food.
The Best - Athena is CC debt free and is so happy about that. Athena was so excited to actually move money to her savings account rather than move it out!
The good: Jenny just got a good morning text from N that made her smile

The better: Jenny has been good about working out since she got to WA, and she is proud of how she's been pushing herself during her cardio work outs.
The best: Jenny is super excited that it's supposed to be sunny and warm in Seattle for the rest of the week! Jenny needs the sun!
The good: Breanne's back is better today and she went to work.
The better: Breanne only worked until lunchtime.
The best: Breanne has the afternoon to relax all by herself with the kitty cats.
The not-so-good: Breanne's OB told her yesterday that she has a really small pelvis and may have to have a c-section to deliver Baby JB. But at least he told her now so she can start preparing for it instead of waiting until she was 39 weeks to tell her. Breanne would rather not have to have surgery, but wants Baby JB to arrive safely and healthy.
The good...
Aria and J get keys tomorrow as soon as the sale is recorded. Woohoohoo!
The better...
Aria and J qualify for the $8,000 tax credit! Yippee!
The best...
Aria and J DON'T HAVE ANY MORE GIANT FRIGGIN THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT for a while. Aria and J have a little CC debt to pay off and a new car to get for J, but no WEDDING PLANS, HOUSE SEARCHES or NEW BABIES for a little while. Aria and J are basking in the glow of this. Aria thinks regular life sounds pretty sweet.
The good: Hudysgirl is finally starting to decorate the house with her DH. They have put up some pictures and decor, but they are actually painting now. What little is done looks so nice. She's excited for a custom room.
The better: Hudysgirl is even busier at work and the days are flying by. She loves being busy. Plus, the girls went out to lunch today and she had a good time.
The best: Hudysgirl couldn't be happier. She and her DH are loving spending time together. They have been able to work and relax together and have fun the whole time. They are enjoying old hobbies together as well as new. Plus, hudysgirl has really been putting in effort to workout and eat well and she's seeing some results. She feels great!
