Miss USA

The Miss USA contestants took photos in lingerie in alluring black and white photos.

Is it a big deal?  Was it inappropriate?

Re: Miss USA

  • I'm going to refrain from commenting on Carrie Prejan because, well, I don't have six hours to spend ranting...

In general, I think Miss USA just "saved" some of its contestants because (basically) if those are the "publicity" images, they can't get mad if there are similar images out there on FB or whatever.

Bottom line: It's a Donald Trump-run Beauty Pageant. Why is appropriateness even a question or issue?

  • Yeah, it's weird that they made a big deal about this before, but now sponsored it.

I just think the photos are gorgeous.  Imagine those as boudoir photos.

I agree. I think that's probably the style they were intending, since it's so popular right now.

  • One way or another, it doesnt bother me.  "scholarship contest" or beauty pageant, it doesnt really make much difference, all of these girls are just hoping to use their looks to get ahead and I dont blame them at all.  I do think its a little hypocritical but its a different pageant and its Donald Trump so i'm not at all suprised.
