Looking for advice on how to dress LO for winter in TX
I am new to Texas and I'm due on Labor Day (9/5). I have no idea how to dress my LO for the fall and "winter" here in Texas. I don't know what types of clothing to register for since I have never spent a winter here and never mind with a newborn. I grew up in Boston where fall and winter are a lot colder and harsher. Can anybody please advise me on what kind of clothing I will need. TIA!!

OOOPPPS!!! i just realized I posted this in the wrong forum! LOL
Sorry ladies, although if any of you have any advice for me it will still be greatly appreciated!
I'm also a MA transplant. I can tell you that it gets cold in TX. Not as cold as Boston (and certainly not as snowy) and not for as long, but the temps are frequently in the 30s and mostly in the 40s during the winter. Lots of layers seems to be the key, although I don't have children, so I can't speak exactly on that subject. Congrats!
DS was born 12/21, so I know what it's like to have a little baby right smack in the middle of winter.
FWIW, it doesn't get "cold" here until December/Jan most of the time. And by cold, I mean not getting out of the 50's during the day. I remember an Xmas a couple years ago when it was in the 80s.
During Jan/Feb/March, I always dressed DS in a short sleeved onesie + a long jammie type onesie. I'd say you'll want to layer, so register for quite a few short sleeved onesies. And get a lot of socks to keep feet warm.
If you're just going to be running from the car to the store and such, I don't think you'll need anything crazy like a snowsuit or one of those bundle things that goes over the car seat. I just threw a blanket over the car seat when running into the store.
