Groomsmen Gifts - what hasn't been done yet?
My friend is getting married next month and he is trying to think of a good gift for his guys. He is one of the last to get married so the monogrammed flask and other gifts like that have already been done. Any ideas? They all golf, drink and most of them boat.
Re: Groomsmen Gifts - what hasn't been done yet?
All of DHs brothers have been asking for a portable cooler (the kind with a strap that you can take in the car...on a boat?). That meets the drinking and boating needs.
There are tons of half off deals for golf courses at http://wftk.incentrev.com/. They always feature them at the start of spring & summer, it seems. Right now Ceder Trace & Cricket Ridge courses are featured. he could give them each a gift certificate for a round of golf. Maybe get each one a cert. to their fave course.
For drinkers, you could get this http://www.suck.uk.com/product.php?rangeID=4&catID=4 (we have one and love it!) and a 6 pack of craft beer chosen to suit their tastes.
We did something similar to that for our guys, each getting their own personalized. I will see if I can track the brand down.

Tim ordered a different one for each guy (we had 6 to buy for).

What about picking something unique for each groomsman? (might not be practical, depending on how many he has). My BIL did this and it was great--it was clear he had put a lot of thought into each gift. My DH was an usher in his wedding, and even he got a personalized gift (drum sticks with the logo of his all-time favorite band on them).
