If you could decide the sex of the baby, would you rather have a boy or a girl?

I would rather have my four children in the following order: boy, girl, girl, boy. With that being said, since I do ultimately want one of each, I will be quite happy to get a girl this go around.

I'd like my first to be a boy but obviously would be happy with either. DH really wants a girl at some point so one of each would be good. We're not sure if we want 2 or 3 so hopefully we'll wind up with one of each.

if i could be guaranteed another boy, i'd say the likelyhood of us going for # 2 would be considerable.

as i told my DH the other night 'i don't hink i'm mother-daughter material'. seriously i think i realize now why i relate more the the evil queen in such movies as Snow White & Sleeping Beauty. i love my boys! and one DH, two male cats and a son means no one borrows my clothes/shoes/jewelry/make-up! LOL

I go back and forth, but it is largely due to my job as a middle school teacher. Seeing the kids at the WORST age, it is really a toss up. I just hope for a child (or children) who are laid back, and not psycho! Since we are not having bio kids, it is all a toss up. We would ideally like one of each. I lean more toward boy and DH leans toward girl. He has always said that we will have a girl when the time comes, so we'll see!

While I would be happy with either, I really want a girl. I want to be able to have a close mother/daughter relationship that I never had with my mom since she died when I was 10 and my stepmom is pretty evil. I also want to have a reason to finally buy American Girl stuff. I know I could do all boy stuff too but oh how I would love a girl.

I go back and forth!

I really want a boy some days. There is like, no boy blood in my family and we just had our first nephew a year ago on DH side. Boys are so fun!

But then, since most likely this will be our only child, i might miss the mother/daughter relationship that i have with my mother and adore so much.

Hmm if I had a crystal ball and knew we were going to have two (or more) I would say boy first because I always wanted an older brother. But if we were to only have one I would want a girl.

I really want one of each, then after that is doesn't matter. I would like to have 4, but we will see how we can financially pull that off!

I go back and forth also but I think I'd want a boy. Although I want a daughter, I'm afraid of what she'll look like with my H's shoulders... *shudder*

My initial plan was to have 2 boys and adopt a girl. So far, I'm sticking to it!
