speaking of bacon, and chocolate
we had a few posts several weeks (months?!) ago about bacon, and then bacon and chocolate. I just saw this in a blog I follow:

any guesses on what that is?
...tempura battered bacon with spicy chocolate dipping sauce...!! not sure whether i need to immediately go try this restaurant or not. per the blogger, "It was delicious but half of one piece was already too much"
Re: speaking of bacon, and chocolate
I'm thinking that maybe there are a couple slices, but there are also air pockets from the puffy batter?
i've tried bacon strips dipped in chocolate, and a chocolate bar with little bacon bits in it. they were pretty good, but i haven't found them to be out-of-this-world-omgwtfbbq-good. but i do want to try making lisa's bacon brownies
okay, i suppose I can take one for the team, go check out this restaurant, and report back! (it will be a few weeks though - lots of travel coming up)
Oh, is it the Voseges? It's tasty, I doubt something I'd crave, but interesting in a "good" way. You should try it, it's really unexpected but the flavors together really work, strange as that sounds

I've read about this - I really want to try it! I suppose I could DIY it at home but I'm not sure it would be the same...
