Hi, I don't post on this board a lot but I figured I would join in this poll to say hi.

We'll be in the Fingerlakes for a wedding Columbus Day weekend so I'm hoping to stay an extra day and hit up the wineries (never been).

4. Did you get married locally or did you have a destination wedding? If you had a DW, where did you get married? Waitsfield VT (but we were living in WA at the time)
5. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Spent a few days in Boston, but were too sick to enjoy it.

7. Have you ever lived anywhere else (another state/country)? Where did you live? Grew up in Maine, college in VT, grad school in Boston, lived in Walla Walla WA for 2 years before moving here.
8. What is your current living situation (Own, Purchasing, Building, Moving, etc...)? We are renting, closing on our first house on June 11.
9. Doing any renovations? If so, what? When we move we will be doing some minor renovations (refinishing floors, painting, etc.)
10. What are your hobbies? Reading, cooking, spending time with DH, crosswords.
11. If you like to read, what are you reading? Dead and Gone by Charlaine Harris
12. If you like to travel, what are your travel plans for the rest of the year? Haven't done much recently besides trips to see family in VT and ME, but I am going to DC this summer.
13. If you are the outdoor type, what do you like to do the most? I like to bike and bird watch.

7. Have you ever lived anywhere else (another state/country)? Where did you live? Buffalo for several years after college, we may end up back there. Also we lived in State College, PA(location of main campus of Penn State)
8. What is your current living situation (Own, Purchasing, Building, Moving, etc...)? ok hate to admit it, but currently we are living with my parents. We thought it was going to be very temp. but it's stretched out, hopefully we should be moving out within the next year, probably will rent first then look to buy once we have more secure jobs.

10. What are your hobbies? I enjoy knitting, sewing, and I do a lot of computer graphics as well.

12. If you like to travel, what are your travel plans for the rest of the year? Dh and I want to take a mini vaca in aug, probably in state. And I think we are going to try to take a nice vacation next Jan when he has a school break
13. If you are the outdoor type, what do you like to do the most? Yes. We just inherited FIL's old canoe, and I can't wait to use that this summer, and see if the dog will tolerate sitting in it. We also love hiking and other activities.

5. Where did you go on your honeymoon? We had been planning to go to St Vincient and Grenada, but I kept pushing off getting our passports, and I decided we should just save the money. Our daughter was only three at the time and every time I thought about leaving her for a week, I got knots in my stomach. I tried to convince DH to bring Caitlin with us... he didn't go for it. ;-) We are hoping to go in a few years. Of course, that leave Nico around the same age...

8. What is your current living situation (Own, Purchasing, Building, Moving, etc...)? We purchased our first home last July
9. Doing any renovations? If so, what? oooooh yes. We bought a definite fixer upper. We are in the process of finishing the full bath. It started out us just planning to strip the mildewy paint from the walls and ceiling, but the drywall was in such rough shape, we tore everything out and started from scratch. We have been working on it, slowly, for the past 9 months! I just painted the first layer of paint last night.
10. What are your hobbies? I love reading, sewing, and crocheting.
11. If you like to read, what are you reading? I am reading The Shack. I am about half way through. It's interesting. I just wish I had more time to read.
12. If you like to travel, what are your travel plans for the rest of the year? We are planning on taking a trip to Hershey this summer, with my paternal extended family. I am really looking forward to it because I only get to see these cousins about every 5 years!
