This is a pic of the bedroom furniture we ordered, which will be arriving in a few weeks. We still need to paint the room, but before we can do that, we need to get a comforter/duvet/bedding set so that we can know our color theme for the room. We really like the bedding pictured with the bedroom set, but it was rediculously expensive to purchase through the furniture store. boo.
So far I know that K doesn't like burnt orange or chartreuse green, and doesn't really want blue in the bedroom. We do both like chocolate brown, sage green among other colors, and tend to have fairly modern taste (simple, clean lines, etc). We are hoping for some sort of a pattern, but plain colors are ok too.
If anyone is bored today, feel free to suggest some options, PIP or links appreciated ![]()

Maybe too chocolately, but I love the circles

ooh i like a lot of these!! will comment more in a bit.
the hard part is K, he is picky picky. I envy anyone who's husband has no interest in the look of their home, haha.
Haha... at least your H is upfront with you about his pickiness. My H says he doesnt care, then I get something, he doesnt like it and then he just biitches about it. For the most part, our tastes are pretty similar but we had a really hard time picking out bedding too... I still dont love it - just a khaki duvet with navy quilt/shams and white and khaki monogrammed shams - too boring but he hated every pattern I picked out so I settled.

My H is like hawki's pretty much.
And he doesn't like the two colors I am thinking of painting some rooms. But sometimes I think he's contrary just to ruffle my feathers. He always told me he could live somewhere that had lawn chairs and paper plates and he'd be happy.

We usually have VERY similar tastes, but sometimes K is like that too. If I ask him what he thinks and can't get an answer from him, I get impatient and just start to do things on my own, then he will sometimes biitch and moan about it. But otherwise it takes forever to get anything done!
Thanks for your input ladies! I really like the grayish set at Kohl's, for some reason i've been really obsessed with grays in my home decorating escapades so far.
I also love the chocolate one with circles from Overstock. I have a thing for geometric patterns, so it would go well with my clean/modern tastes.
I also came across inhabitliving.com yesterday, and I am in love with some of the patterns on there. Ughh decisions, decisions!!
