Just wanted to update you on my daddy.
He got to come home yesterday. No thanks to my mom(We'll get to that later). He hadn't had anything on his stomach since last wednesday untill monday about 3:00. He was so weak but when they finally gave him some apple juice you could tell it purked him up. And now he's able to have the ensure stuff and all is good he's just gotta get his strength back up.
Now on to my mother. She called and asked me and DH to feed the horses for them Sunday and that was fine but she failed to mention she was comeing home (and just didn't want to have to do it when she got home) till later. She said she had to come home to go to work, because she had already asked off for this next friday to go to a Tim McGraw concert with my aunt, and (and I quote) "I'm not gonna let anything ruin my weekend." I was like um not even your husband starving to death in the hospital. I was so mad. So Monday morning I went down there to be with my dad, so he wouldn't be all by hisself. Plus she was just gonna let one of daddy's buddies bring him home. I was not about to let my daddy just "find a way home". So I stayed till yesterday to bring him home. I mean I know she was probably stressed and ready to get home but sometimes she doesn't think about think before she does or says them.
But anyways Thank you ladies for all the T&P.
Re: Good Morning Ladies
I was thinking of you yesterday and wondering how all was going! (someone brought up horses (at home, not here) and you came to mind...
I'm glad your daddy sounds like he's doing much better-esp if he's home! That's great! As for your mother-I'm sorry-some people deal with stress and stuff like this differently than you expect... (I should know-I'm def one of those people...)
Still T&P to you and your family and a quick recovery for your daddy!
I'm glad they got the feeding tube placed better for him and he can get some nourishment now.
Sorry your mom is being weird...seems like she's having a hard time coping with this and would just rather avoid it.

That's what I was thinking too. I'm sorry you have to pick up for her slack. It can't be easy at this time.
I'm glad your dad is doing better though!
Thank you all!
Yeah I don't know what to say to her because I really don't think she relizes how selfish she is being. And if I say anything and she will know I'm right she will get mad at me for making her see what shes doin' is not right. So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. She even asked me yesterday if daddy would have the strength to drive her half way to meet my aunt to pick her up. I just said "I don't know." in a probably not kinda way.
I just don't know what to say to her.
What!?!?! This is crazy! He just got out of the hospital, can she have a little sympathy?
Glad your Daddy is doing well enough to come home! Continued T&P's to him.
About yuor Mom.... since I don't personally know her I really can't comment on her behavior. From an outside point of view it seems like she just does not care. I hope this is not the case.
I agree with softskate- I think she might just be having a hard time coping. It happens even to the best of us sometimes.
