I know I'm a broken record, but...
leaving sucks! I have been in tears on and off all day today because I am removing myself from our listings, website, voicemail, etc. All this over my job... how will I be once I start getting sad about leaving our friends and home? Gonna be such an emotional week.
After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12

Just think about all the amazing things SF has to offer ... The Golden Gate Bridge, Rice-A-Roni, Full House, Alcatraz, the adorable trolleys ... it will be an amazing adventure for you & your DH!!
...and the sea lions on the piers!! How can you possibly top an adorable sea lion?!
And it'll be so much nicer weather wise in San Fran!

you have a friend, er, FIEND here! I'm about 30 minutes out of the city, and work in Oakland. I know it's not the same, but either way, let's get together!
The week before I moved to Florida after college I got so stressed out and got so sick that my mom had to pack up my things for me....THEN...when we bought our house I got really sick AGAIN and DH had to pack all of our stuff by himself while I was on the couch at my mom's.....I don't do so well with moving......I don't know why.
You are moving to one of the most fabulous cities in the world! That's an awesome opportunity and will be SO worth it once you get there. I know it's hard to leave, but change is always scary. You are going to love it there!
We'll be living in the hills with MIL for a few weeks. We should TOTALLY get together!

Hey I watched something on the discovery channel last week that all of the sea lions left and headed up north to this "secret" sea lion cave. They thought it was because of a future earthquake, but now they just think it's because of food or lack of in San Fran.. Just in case you were wondering.....
Haven't you heard? Most of them have left and gone to Oregon! Scientists aren't sure why, but it may be water changes due to pollution, but they are hoping they come back soon.

Kel, so you'll be actually living in Oakland? I live in Martinez (about 30 minutes away) and work for Children's Hospital Oakland.I'm not a huge party animal, but I'm good with finding food, and dog friendly places to hike.
Cipolla, come visit! hell, everyone come visit! We can all snuggle in my shoebox apartment and watch 80's themed Brat Pack movies!
