Hotel ? (yes, I read the above post already)....
Which was awesome and very helpful.
But I was wondering about the Pod Hotel. I didn't see it mentioned in there. It seems like a great deal ($189 a night a couple of blocks from the Waldorf). Anyone heard any horror stories I should know about?

I've never even heard of it, honestly. It seems pretty cool though if you're not spending too much time in your room. Whenever I'm looking at a specific hotel I usually go by the tripadvisor.com reviews to see what people did and didn't like, and if it's stuff that bothers me.
I heard a chain of pod hotels from London is opening one in NY. The photos look pretty futuristic and cool. Haven't heard of anyone who has actually stayed there yet.
I think that was the place...and I think I read about it NYTimes, so try searching for their review.

It had pretty good reviews on Trip Advisor, but my husband is still a little nervous that it isn't well known and asked me to "ask the Nest people."
