What's for dinner tonight?

I'm feeling rather uninspired lately on dinners... not sure what is going on but DH is tired of the paninis and popcorn that we've had so far this week.  What are you guys making?

Re: What's for dinner tonight?

  • Why do you have to live several states away, KB??  I've been dying for homemade pancakes lately.

We're having fish sticks and tater tots.

  • Pancakes sound good, actually! I forgot to bring any meat down from the freezer, and the new Southern Vampire Series book came in yesterday, so I don't really want to spend time cooking tonight!
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • bratwurst and salad.
  • It just felt like a breakfast for dinner kind of night and requires no extra trip to the grocery store. I'm going to make some scrambled eggs & cheese to go along with it for DH.

  • Hamburger Helper's Cheeseburger Macaroni. DH loooves it, and he actually likes to cook it too, so when he says he wants it I always agree so I can have a night off from cooking

  • Leftovers. Even though it's my birthday! I told the hubby not to worry about anything fancy since we are celebrating with my family all weekend. So I think it is some leftover chicken-apple sausage stuffing (yes, this is a side dish, but I love it so much we make it as dinner)
  • I am going to a networking dinner for fellow MBA's. I hope the food is good!

DH can fend for himself (McD's?)

  • Ooooh I love breakfast for dinner. Unfortunately the mister...notsomuch.

I'm making endive, beet and goat cheese salad, pasta with homemade meat sauce, and berries with creme fraiche. Yum.

    From Oy Vey to Ole!

  • Change of plans. We're going to Choo's house.

  • Busy night getting stuff ready for my parents visit on Friday.  I had to go to the grocery store tonight because I'm making a carrot cake with cream cheese icing from scratch tomorrow for my mom's 60th birthday Friday.  Since I was at the grocery store we ended up having rotisserie chicken with Bob Evans mashed potatoes.  Tomorrow we'll likely be eating Chick-Fil-A.
  • Queso.  Meat, cheese, and veggies - a complete meal for a lazy night.
