I have been completely useless at work today/confession.
Probably fire-worthy. I feel awful.
Also, I sent T to daycare today even though he is losing his voice (possible sore throat). He was so happy this morning and wasn't acting sick at all - but his voice was cracking whenever he talked, and he most definitely can't hit the high notes.
I suck.

Re: I have been completely useless at work today/confession.
Same here. I was on ebay LOL
I doubt one day of uselessness is fire-worthy.
I thought running a fever and/or puking were the only big reasons to keep your kid home from DC.
I hope so. I don't have a clue. I feel like such a clueless mother.
If he seemed happy and your daycare hasn't called, it's probably fine.
Yeah, if they are visibly uncomfortable, feverish or puking, that's when I would stay home. I wouldn't feel guilty. It may just be allergies or something!
I think today may be my last nesting at work day. I overheard our director talking to our IT guy and heard
"so you can track blah blah.. "
It - "Well, we probably can't tell what computer went to the site, but throughout the building we can track"
In time your mother instanct will get better. There have been a few times that I felt things were off and still sent the girls to daycare only to get a call a few hours later. They didn't have fevers but weren't acting right. I'm getting better at trusting my instancts. And, like Suze said you daycare provider will call you if T isn't feeling well. Usually home daycares are a little more flexible.
BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Here is my evil confession for the day. L has class tonight and won't be home until 10. I am 1000x more productive when he isn't around and I'm really looking forward to having a night of relaxing and hopefully getting some things done around the house.
I hope T feels better!
And GVSU - NOOOOOOOOOO! I can see places watching/blocking naked people and online gambling, but TN never hurt anyone!
I've been the opposite of most it seems - I've had work to do at work! At first I was all like "What the hell losers, don't you know I'm busy nesting?" but then I remembered that they send me money twice a month and figured I should pry do stuff.
I am the same way!
H told me last night that he was headed to bed. I said "What time is it?" He said "7". I said "No way. If you lay down now, then I am going to want to lay donw too. I don't think so."
I am useless when he is home.
Well I guess my confession is that I'm just plain useless after work. No matter who's around. Even if Obama or my mother came over and told me to stop being so worthless and wash a sock or dish or something I'd still just lay on the couch.
