What kind of camer a do you have?
We are trying to decide between a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS DSLR or a Nikon D3000 DSLR. Any thoughts about both if you anything about either of them? We are leaning towards getting the Canon for now...

I have an Olympus.
I know there is a photography board on the bump, those ladies most def, have one of those cameras, they may be able to better help you choose between the two.
I know one of the Nikons have a very limited choice of lenses beyond those that come with the camera (not sure if that is the one you listed above though).
From what I've seen, people are usually in the Canon or Nikon camp and thier choice usually boils down to which camera feels the most comfortable in their hand.
