Hi!

You are trying a gluten free diet right? DH is having some flare ups with his health issues and may try to go gluten free for a little while and see if that helps.

Do you have any pointers? Where do you buy the foods? He looked in the grocery store but didn't see much. I'd appreciate any tips.

You can email me if thats easier. Thanks!

Re: ~517b~

  • I was diagnosed with Celiac last week so unfortunately gluten-free is my only option now!  I'm just now getting started. There are some great websites out there.  I am actually scheduled to see a dietitian in Charlotte who specialized in gluten-free diets.  I can def give you her name!  I'm not much help on shopping yet.  I've had my best luck at Ingles as they actually label their gluten-free foods (and they have an amazing list of GF foods on their website - seriously its like 23 pages long).  I'm starting to feel better about what to look for but I spent the first week living on Chex cereal!  I will shoot you the info I have in an email!
