Produce Box
I got the surprise box last night. Curious what people's thoughts were on this week's box. I was excited because it had some of my favorites!

Im newish to the Nest as I still post on 'The Knot' a lot. Trying to transition over here though
Mind if I ask what the surprise box is?
The Produce Box is available in the triangle area gives you freshly picked produce from local farms delievered to your house once a week. Each week you can pick from Box A, Box B or the Surprise Box. The contents for Box A and Box B are both listed, but it is a surprise what will come in the Surprise Box.
I got a large box of strawberries, a large box of new potatoes, a tomato, a huge sweet potato, a big spring onion (like a gigantic green onion), head of lettuce, head of cabbage, a huge cucumber, 3 yellow squash, a sample of bread, and a sample of peanut butter.
Ohhh we have a friend that does this, but I didnt realize what it was called or where she got it from. Thank you for letting me in on it! Sounds delicious and fun
Plus supporting local farmers is always a ++ in my book!
I got box C too and was very pleased. I love squash & zucchini! I got red leaf lettuce, pointy head lettuce, 2 sweet potatoes, 1 zucc, 4 squash, stawberries, 1 spring onion, new potatoes and the samples.
Oh yeah and a giant cucumber and 2 tomatoes.
I don't think it is cheaper, but I don't think it is incredibly more expensive either since you really do get a lot of stuff. I pay the premium for the delivery, buying local, and the variety of veggies. It is nice to be able to mix things up!
You pick your box Fri-Sun for the following week. You should get an email reminder. :-) HTH
