As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

People are just so odd
So I was taking a walk (really a waddle) on my lunch break. So I see this delivery guy and I smile, I always smile at people, just a habit from my retail days I guess. So then he goes what you got there? And points to my stomach. In my head I am like umm I have no idea what kind of answer this guys is looking for. So I was like umm a baby?
He was like yeah, how much longer? And I was like oh a couple of weeks. He was like yeah I was going to say I wouldn't want to be stuck on an elevator with you. And then he laughed. I gave an akward forced laugh and walked away.
I am fully aware of my girth, no need for constant reminders.
Also did you know pretzel M & M's exisit?! Me either till today!!

I agree... that is odd. It was comical until he said "I wouldn't want to be stuck on an elevator with you."
However, I would've taken it more as a "in case the elevator got stuck and we wound up in one of those 'I'm delivering your baby in an elevator, where the F is the fire department to get us out?!' kind of movie/TV sitcom" kind of way.
Still...

oh no thats how I took it too, I just thought it was an odd thing to say. I should have pretended to all of a sudden go into labor and be like forgot the elevator you need to deliver my baby right here on the street!
