Coco Keys water resort...worth the $ or spend it somewhere else?
A few family members are coming to stay with us over Memorial Day weekend, including my 4 yr old niece, and i was thinking the water park might be a fun thing to do since they have day passes. I've never been and i don't know anyone who has so i thought i'd ask around here.
Is it a nice place for a family to spend a day or is it too crowded and we should find other things to do?
Re: Coco Keys water resort...worth the $ or spend it somewhere else?
If you go, will you report back and give us a review? I've never been to Coco Key, only to Great Wolf Lodge, and I have no desire to return.
Three things are forever burned into my memory from GWL:
1. I barely avoided stepping on a pair of wet little girls' panties that were laying on the walkway.
2. I saw one too many band-aids laying around.
3. A guy was standing in front of me in line for a water slide. He had the greasiest, hairiest back I've ever seen on another human being in my lifetime. Suddenly I realized that I was sharing pool water with that guy--perhaps even getting some pool water in my mouth.
Now whenever I think of GWL I automatically feel gross all over.
Taylormillgirl - hahaha...i think you may have turned me off to the idea now! i haven't thought of all that. i'll more than likely end up still going b/c my niece is really excited about it.
I'll give a review if we go, hopefully it won't be too crowded and there aren't any greasy hairy backs standing in my line of sight
I'm surprised GWL was so dirty.
My husband is against large group pools. In fact, after going to the pool at Coney Island, I'm starting to undersatnd. I can handle my community pool, but those really big ones with random people from everywhere, it is kind of weird (and imagine all of the chemicals in those pools!)
