Re: TTC related: Easy to Swallow Prenatal Vitamins?
ooh, i forgot to reply to your email about this. i'm taking Stuart PNV. It's OTC. I got it from CVS. It's very easy to swallow. I don't know if it' the vitamins or it's just me but I didn't feel nauseous unlike other PNV.

When I was TTC, I took one that I bought at a healthfood store. I think the brand was Rainbow Light Comlete Prenatal. They were smooth capsules instead of the giant, chalky prescription kind. The dosing was 6 per day. I took 2 after each meal. My dr prescribed some, too. I think it was NataFort. Some days I would take the Rx and some the over-the-counter brand. I figured that covered everything. My dr said that the Rx kind could be broken in half. Bad idea. It made it scratchy and harder to swallow. You might try the Rainbow Light 6/day.

I take Walgreen's brand. They ARE big, but coated well, so they go down pretty easily for me.
They do smell bad, but I agree that I think all vitamins smell bad.
For the nausea (I've always gotten nauseated with vitamins), I take them directly before going to bed....I sleep through the nausea!
wow. i knew there were a lot out there
i can count on you guys for recs
what's dha?

I take these. They're liquid softgels recommended by my OB/GYN. I haven't had problems swallowing them and no nausea. GL!
