i've been so. thirsty.
EDD 11/20
I've been *dying* to say something to my nesties, but was too scared to. we didn't even tell our parents until last night. i'm still not going to mention it on FB or work for a while. this whole time, I kept alternating between wanting to share it with the world, and not wanting anyone to know...just in case...
But, I'll officially be out of first tri next week, we had our NT scan
yesterday, I finally feel like it's okay to start telling some people!
Sadly, both photos we got yesterday were kinda blurry 
, I don't
know why she didn't print one of the perfect profile ones, and I should
have asked for it. Oh well. I can't decide which part was coolest - it's a toss up between seeing him wave his hand and flip and turn and hiccup, seeing the umbilical cord pulse with my heartbeat, and seeing the two hemispheres of his brain - it was amazing! Hah, and yes, we refer to the baby as a "he" - we are that convinced it's a boy. We'll find out in about 8 weeks, which I guess will give us time to adjust if he turns out to be a she! We'll be thrilled either way.
...Sarah, needless to say, I've been thinking about you a *lot*. I've always been inspired by how you express your love for Bella and your family, and the strength that you've shown the last few weeks has been amazing. Bella is so lucky to have you as her mama, and I can only hope that some day, someone will say that about me and this child. I hope you're healing bit by bit inside - hugs.

tehe. i really have been SO thirsty though - i get up every 3 hours even at night to pee - and gulp down more water. i've never been good about drinking enough water, and now, i'm constantly thirsty!
