Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

S/O Hawaii Bump Board
I checked the Hawaii Babies Board on The Bump yesterday and it was completely empty (as in NO posts) except for one that two ladies had chimed in on...so I replied and invited them over here.
But it got me to thinking, since that board is no longer being used by PWs to up their post counts, etc. it would make a nice place for us to move our BR chat and have it nicely contained all in one place. It would then allow this board to be used for non-BR chat, as is intended by The Nest Gods anyway (The Bump was greated for all things BOTB).
I am thinking it wouldn't be that hard to check both boards since there's a convenient linky at the top of this board to that one. And that way anyone who wants to lurk or post on either board is free to do so, but those who don't want BR chat can avoid it here.
Off to post on The Bump's Hawaii Board...hope to see some of you there!

Here are three reasons:
1) Not everyone on this board is okay with the BR chat and they are feeling alienated and/or staying away completely. New nesties who aren't BOTB avoid coming her after their days on The Knot.
2) There are some who really want to post BR stuff but don't because of #1.
3) Moving BR topics to the The Bump board keeps them all in one place where those of us who want to read/participate in them can do so and those who don't want to don't even have to try to skip them.
No worries, I am fairly certain whomever choses to post on the Hawaii Babies board will still be posting here. At least that's what I plan to do.

Lori's reason #3 is most compelling for me. Now that I'm PG, I'm finding it difficult to find all the BR posts on TN that I skipped over before.
And TN search tool just doesn't work for me (does it work for anyone?). If the Hawaii Bump board was already populated with the BR posts, it would have made my research much easier.
it would be great to post all the BR stuff that I want to but I have a hard enough time finding time to check this board alone. Ahhhh, what to do, what to do???
Why do who don't like all the BR post, post more stuff that they are interested in?
I hear ya. Those are good reasons. I just haven't heard anyone complain along the lines of #1 or #2. Have I missed a discussion/vent on this?
I'm honestly more interested in BR stuff nowdays so I'm just saying that if I go there, I probably won't be back on TN. Once I came here, I dropped TK and for the most part never went back. Not that I post that much anymore anyway since I don't check at work anymore. Just sayin.
