Who's around? What's for dinner?

I was bad and ate SO much Chinese food for dinner last night after work. (Like, enough to feed 2-3 adults lol)

Now all I want to eat is Chinese food. I get on 'food kicks.'

So what's for dinner? I'm debating going to get Chinese food again instead of eating a chicken pot pie.?

Re: Who's around? What's for dinner?

  • I love Chinese food.  I could eat it every single day.

I can't offer anything interesting.  I'm stuck in my office at school till 8:30 because I'm carpooling, so I have a PB&J, and apple and some carrots.

    I'm a wild woman.

  • LOL  at "food kick".  I've been on a mexican food kick for like, a year now. lol  I could seriously eat it everyday.

DH and I have an RCIA class at the catholic church tonight so whatever they are feeding us.

    Siggy coming soon....
  • We're having burritos to satisfy my Mexican cravings.

  • I made chicken noodle soup. Both me and my dh have been feeling a little icky the last two days so I thought it would be good. It was!!

I am always on a Mexican or Chinese kick! Yum, sweet and sour shrimp! Hubby don't like chinese so I don't get it often but when I do....watch out!

  • I LOVE Mexican (my childhood was spent in Texas) and could eat it every day. But we opted for drive through chick-fil-a tonight since my daughter has dance and hubby is out of town.
  • My husband is awesome and cooking me dinner :) (yeah, I admit he's the cook most of the time ;)

He's making something I think I mentioned on a WFD post before -chicken parmesan quesadillas. I know it sounds odd, but they are really good and pretty easy. We just use the George Foreman grill. We got the idea from one of those free recipe cards from Publix one day. I love those things!

  • What is it with Mexican and Chinese food?? SO addictive! Yum!

Stars, my husband does most of the cooking too. Isn't it great? :)

  • oh yeah..haha :) He enjoys it though. Sometimes it's like he would just rather do it than let me help, even when I offer. I guess I shouldn't complain about that...lol. less work for me ;)

  • I have been sick with a ear infection these past two days so I didn't feel like cooking tonight.  Me and DH went to a local BBQ place and had a stuffed potato.  Yum :)

  • We had grilled chicken and risotto...delicious!
  • My husband made pork chops, okra, corn and tomatoes. It was really good. If you want Chinese food then go for it. There is nothing wrong with having food kicks.
  • I get on "home cooking" kicks occasionally... I try to cook healthy, but sometimes I can't deny the urge for collards and/or black eyed peas over a crumbled wedge of cornbread... OMG.

Last night I had pasta and birthday cake - it was my friend's birthday!
