Housewarming Party invites

We are going to have a housewarming party sometime in June but I am having a really hard time finding affordable invitations.  I was thinking of doing evites.  What do you guys think.

Anyone know where I could get cheap housewarming invitations?

Re: Housewarming Party invites

  • I think an evite is fine -- I prefer pingg or mypunchbowl over evite, but any are fine!

As far as cheap invites, I don't really know. I'm sure Hallmark or Papyrus have inexpensive ones you write in, otherwise surely you can print postcards or something from shutterfly or one of those cheaply.

  • I am doing the same in June and using evites. I know some people prefer paper invitations but since my event is going to be so informal I don't see the need to use up more trees. No one has had a problem with it that I know of for informal events. For bridal showers, weddings, etc. I always send paper.
  • I bought mine from Vistaprint and they were not that much. I do think that an e-vite will be fine too.
  • If you really want to send out paper invitations, check etsy, Michaels, Paper Source and Target.
  • we are having a housewarming in July, I ordered mine from vistaprint.com and we love them.....and they were cheap
