Reviewing Vendors on Wedding Channel

I saw that post from Nest Anni and clicked her link and I was going to do some reviews.  There's a box for "if you're already married" to put in your vendor and city/state or zip.  I've tried city/state (I've tried abbreviated state and not) and I've tried zip.  Nothing works.  It keeps giving me an error that "city/state or zip is required."  Has anyone gotten it to work?  Am I crazy?

Re: Reviewing Vendors on Wedding Channel

  • That's weird. It worked for me- I just put my zip code on the first screen though (no vendor name) and then on the next screen searched for the vendor. Maybe try that?
  • You may have to type in St. Louis as Saint Louis?
  • Every time it did that to me, I had to go back to the main "vendor review" page by clicking the tab on the top left.  When I would do that, it would stop for a while.

  • I still can't get it to work.  I tried the main "vendor review" page, but it just refreshes the page and the same error keeps popping up about "city and state or zip is required."

I've tried the vendor and zip, vendor and city/state, vendor alone, zip alone, city and state alone... everything.  I guess it's not worth all this trouble.

  • Now that I've been messing around with it, I found out that city and state will pop up if you put in just a few letters.  The problem is, none of the cities of ours show up.  For example, our reception was in Moline, IL.  When I type in Moline, it shows Moline, KS, Moline, MI, Moline, OH, and Moline Acres, MO.  I guess no vendors in Moline, IL count??  Boo to that.

  • I live in Richmond, VA.  The only vendors listed for Virginia are in DC...which is technicallt not Virginia  :)
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
  • I had to add most of my vendors--there's a link to do that towards the bottom of the page when you have a list of vendors up.  They won't be viewable immediately, though; I have a feeling the nest wants to verify what people enter.

Thanks, Munkii!  I found it!  Now the problem is that I have entered all of the vendor info. to add them but when I click "submit this vendor and review" the page just refreshes, with all of my vendor info in there, like nothing happened.  Geez, this really isn't worth it!! :(
