D@mn it, they cancelled my flight to Greece! UPDATED
Argh, I should have bought trip insurance! And they're not cancelling it due to volcanic ash or anything so dramatic--British Airways employees are striking. I've got hotels, transfers, etc. all booked...why can DH and I not catch a break lately?!

I'm supposed to be leaving in a little over a week! I've been on hold for nearly an hour and a half trying to figure out next steps. I'm supposed to be able to rebook on their website but it isn't working properly. In the meantime I used my other phone to hold a flight on USAir so at least there's some contingency plan but those tix are $870 more (total) than what I originally paid
I wish it had occurred to me to buy trip insurance. Stupid, stupid oversight.

That sucks that they canceled it, but I'm glad they were able to reschedule you with a different airline.
Have a GREAT time! I've been to Thessaloniki, but would love to see more of Greece. I'm jealous! (P.S. If you eat seafood, grilled octopus is FANTASTIC!)
