Weekend Update
I made it to Pigeon Forge and back all in one piece. Went to Dollywood and ate at the largest buffet in the smokies. Long and exhausted weekend moving my friend's sister back to Michigan while she and her husband sort "things out". She only packed 2 suitcases because she only staying the summer.

Only 2 suitcases to possibly leave your husband? That doesn't sound right. Glad you got home safe though.
She's not "leaving him" just getting away so they can figure some things out. I guess they have been with each other 27/7 for the last 10 years having only spent 1 night apart. She doesn't drive, They work at the same place. He drinks a 12 pack each night, play video games and sleeps on the sofa and she sleeps in the bed room and reads. She said that it's more like roommates for the last 18 months rather than being a married couple.
My weekend was good. I volunteered at a fundraiser on Saturday which was kinda neat. It was a Monopoly Tournament where they do 2 90 minute rounds to qualify for the final round. It was interesting to see the various strategies.
Sunday we did house/lawn work. It was nice to be outside! Then I spent the last 5 hours of the weekend planning our upcoming trip to Mackinac Island.
This weekend was fantastic. On Saturday we had a productive morning and then a great time at our friend's going away party - except for the whole part where she's going away which makes me unbelievably sad.
Sunday we brewed beer in the garage, listened to the Tigers, threw the softball around and played with the dogs, then some broomball, and then enjoyed some tasty sandwiches and pecan pie at the in-laws.
I hope this weather sticks around! :-)
Mine was too short, as always! It was good though. Saturday DH and I did some yard work, we ripped the carpet out of the nursery, then we went to a wedding reception.
Sunday I woke up sore and stiff from all of the yard work the day before. But we went grocery shopping and bought some flowers. I spent the afternoon planting the flowers in the flower beds at the front of our house. After that I was pretty pooped. We grilled out an early dinner and had a relaxing evening.
(we'll see how long my flowers last as I probably won't feel like doing much weeding. It was a stretch to get them planted! I never realized how convinient it is to be able to bend over! lol)
I had a good weekend. I did a lot of yard work. I like it when I'm done with the yard work because it's so nice to hang out and grill in the backyard. We grilled, which is always tasty.
I was bored saturday, and doing some drunk nesting, I posted "ask a mormon' on MM. I see I really stirred the pot, which I didn't mean to.
