Moody, Magnificent or just plain 'meh' Mondays...
Doing all right for a Monday, here. DH was sick for most of the weekend, which caused us to miss his cousin's wedding and my niece's dance recital. It allowed us to watch the Blackhawks game, though (GO HAWKS!).
We're getting our last two estimates on flooring today, too. So after today, we'll know who will be doing our floors and when. Then you all can help me pick paint colors for the bedroom. Yay!
Re: Moody, Magnificent or just plain 'meh' Mondays...
It's going to be mostly magnificent. The weekend was nice as we got some cleaning out of the way and got to lounge a bit. Right now I have absolutely nothing to do, and later I'm going to an NCAA conference. It should be a pretty-ok day.
My Blog!
Things are pretty good here. I took today off 100% from work... and we didn't have any weddings or houseguests or anything else. It was a GREAT Sunday. Makes me feel a lot more refreshed, so hopefully it will pay off and I will get more done than normal... here's hoping!
Just work today, work this week. I'm getting a good rhythm down... hopefully I can keep this up!
And our veggie garden is out of control! No veggies yet, but it's like our plants are on steroids. Very excited for home grown veggies
Today's somewhere between "meh" and "magnificent." I have to be at work, but the boss just received a big order of baby chicks (yes, really) at the post office and they've been nagging us to pick them up. So he's out of the office all morning getting them set up. The rest of the day looks like it'll be pretty light, too.
Even better, though, my sister is coming home for the summer from college tomorrow. I haven't seen her in about 4 months and I'm really excited to spend some time with little sis!

Magnificent over here! I had a great weekend and tickets went on sale today for the reunion tour of one of my absolute most favorite bands ever - Something Corporate. They aren't coming until August...which means I'll be uncomfortably pregnant by then, but I don't even care! I've loved them for what seems like an eternity (err, maybe more like 9 years...whatever
) and I can't wait to see them again!
On top of that, I had a lovely weekend, so nothing to complain about here!

Today is moody... it's rainy and cold here and my pants are too tight.
Oooohhh I've never had In N Out but I heard it's amazing. Oh my pants are tight too....and I just downed a bag of chili cheese fritos...
I'm starving!
Come over to the dark side and buy some maternity clothes! I don't think I'll wear normal pants ever again...

I have and I love them too! I can't imagine wearing regular pants again either. Today they feel especially tight when I sit Indian-style in my chair.
I have been having a lot of weird dreams!! And a lot of TMI dreams too! None about aliens just yet but because you mentioned them, I will probably see them in my dreams tonight.

Nicole - I've have been having the nuttiest dreams the past few nights. It seems like they last all night long, too. I wonder if I'll ever just have a normal night's sleep again?

It has definitely been a moody Monday. I found out last night that my younger sister is engaged and I have to say that I'm not really too happy about it. I'm sure I know what you are all thinking...I should be happy for her and her fiance but they have only been together for a month and a half. DH and I weren't together for a long time prior to getting engaged but it was definitely longer than a month and a half. The one thing that I was actually looking forward to today was getting together with my friends for our weekly night out but now that has been cancelled because one friend has a meeting and one isn't feeling well. Just hope tomorrow is better.
