I'm in a good mood anyway - b/c just one more week until my vacation :-)
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty low key. Took a late train home from DC Friday night after visiting a friend there after work and a super creepy guy sat next to me - so I'm happy to be alive!! I lied at least twice to this guy - once that I did not have my business card on me, and second that DH was picking me up at the station. Nothing this guy said made much sense, and I wasn't sure if he was creepy in a awkwardly hitting on me type way, or wanting to drag me out in a field and kill me way (and I talk to lots of strangers commuting and am normally not at all creeped out by people). Otherwise, the rest of the weekend was spent taking many walks with DH and shopping for our trip.
Re: Happy Monday!
Good morning! Sounds like you had an interesting night. Can you take another train so you don't have to be on the same one as him? How exciting your vacation is next week! We just booked our tickets for Portugal/Spain and am so stoked!
We didn't do much this weekend, which was so nice! Finally finished our master bathroom (it's been torn apart for over a year). I'll have to post some before and after pics. Have a great week ladies!
Normally I take rush hour trains - Friday night was the first time I had taken such a late one and I have no future plans to do so again :-)
and Yay for Portugal/Spain! Sounds like fun :-)
Eeek! That sounds creepy! I'm glad you are okay and the creeper didn't try to pull anything funny with you.
Lisa I'm so excited for you! That trip sounds AWESOME!
Good morning! And yeah that sounds super creepy. I would have told the same lies as you. So glad you're okay.
Nothing really exciting this weekend for me. I did acomplish a lot though. I cleaned the entire house, got my car serviced, and made a huge batch of pasta sauce to freeze. I usually make a giant pot to seperate in freezer bags. That way H can just throw one in a pot to heat for dinner. Plus it's so much cheaper and soooo much better than store bought sauce.
Good morning! I'm dragging a little today. I actually woke up feeling awake & ready to go, but then I got distracted while getting ready and ended up being late for work, which seemed to totally put me off my game and just drain me for some reason? Plus to I think the gloomy weather here is just not helping at all.
We spent the weekend at Lake Havasu and it was soooo fun, so needed, and very rejuvenating (although you couldn't tell by tiredness today). My family was there, and our neighbors came also, so it was a really great time. Plus the weather was sooooo nice there, it was forecasted to be mid-high 90's, but I'm fairly certain it only hit 90 at the hottest part of the day, so it was great.
I drove up to Syracuse to get my hair cut and colored and figure out what I'm going to be doing with it for the wedding. I also visited my 94 year old grandma who is doing surprisingly well for someone her age. I'm still here, leaving tomorrow morning to drive back so I can be home in time for our friend to come over in the evening for our dance lesson. He's giving us 3 lessons this week/weekend so we don't look like total idiots at the wedding. I also have a few last minute things to finish up (playlist, seating chart poster).
Still waiting on my security clearance so I can start work. I may end up going to orientation on the 26th and flying down to Florida on the 27th since we were planning on driving the 26th. Poor Andrew would have to drive alone, at least to Charlotte, where he'd pick up my friend. It's so tough just sitting here waiting to hear about my clearance.
Afternoon gals.
I threw Alpal's Billionth Second Alive party on Saturday night and we had a blast! It was one hilarious party. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the excess alcohol we have left over...
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.
One&Only Palmilla - Los Cabos, Mexico
Bring it to my house.
ehhh, creepy Becky...
we had Opening day at my parent's Yacht Club. My dad is the Commodore (president) of the club this year. It was basically an elderly drunk free for all, with boats. Great times. Grandma was in charge of the baby, so DH and I were able to relax a little. We had a great time, but I'm super tired today.
