5 days until the weekend (or better known as Monday)
Here we are again. How was your weekend? What are you looking forward to next weekend?

On Saturday we got up bright and early and drove down to Point Loma for my graduation. My whole family was there and the ceremony was really nice. Plus, I got my hood which makes it all worth it, lol. A lot of people from my program are moving, or we have moved away from them so it was nice to see them one more time along with our professors. We had a great lunch party and then headed home. I am awaiting on pictures from family members but hopefully will get to post soon. Plus now my name gets some added initials next to it.
On Saturday evening and Sunday I spent all day painting the "toilet" room that connects to the rest of the bathroom. This is the first time I have done the job completely myself, and only the second time actually painting. Though it took forever I am really proud of the way it turned out. Next weekend I plan on doing a large portion of our bedroom. School has always kept me back from things like this so I figure I should jump in and start working on the house. That, and going back to the gym three times this week.

It was a pretty good weekend. Saturday morning I went to a friends baby shower. Took a nap that evening and did some cleaning. Sunday- church, lunch at one of favorite mexican resturants in the OC, PBK at South Coast Plaza and then Ikea.
Nothing exciting going on this week/weekend. Dh is going to be filming in Las vegas so he will be gone. I need to work on Ivy's room.
ETA: On Friday I got my hair cut! I haven't had that done in ages and it feels so healthy now!

Robyn- what mexican restaurant is that? I've been wanting to hit up Ikea, can't wait for the new catalog!

Friday after work I met up with a friend and took some maternity pictures for her and her hubby. It was entirely too much fun
While we were at the park (Fairmount) L got to try out the new playground equipment.
Saturday I ran some errands and got some stuff on my car done. we went to dinner at the Spag Fac.
Yesterday I had to take L to Urgent Care. He's had a runny nose and then he started to wheeze and have some trouble breathing. The doc put him on antibiotics due to his hx (pneumonia in Feb) just to be safe. He's not acting sick at all so I'm praying it doesn't get worse. After that we went to a b-day party and home!

Christina- I don't remember you mentioning that your birthday was coming up. Happy Birthday!
Becki- It's the Chile Pepper in Orange. Sorry to hear L isn't feeling well.

Friday the kids and I just hung out at home. I went to Michaels before they got to the house and spent WAY to much money on cake decorating supplies.
Saturday DH had a golf tournament so the kids and I went to lunch at Islands and stopped at Old Navy to get my oldest Step-son some shorts. Dh came home and we had pizza for dinner.
Sunday DH had the second part of his tourney so the kids and I cleaned. They had to clean their guinea pig's cage, I rearranged the kitchen and cleaned my bedroom and did laundry. When DH came home I gave him a haircut and we picked the ripe vegetables from the garden - some cherry tomatoes, romaine lettuce, green onions and cucumbers. Then we grilled some steaks and played Pictionary and went to bed.
Tonight I'm not doing a darn thing.

I made my first wedding cake this weekend and it was a success! It looked decent enough and everybody loved the taste of the cake- the bride was thrilled, so I was happy
Other than that not much other than cleaning and resting.

This weekend went by entirely too fast. I actually woke up this morning when my alarm went off thinking "why did I set my alarm on the weekend!"
Friday H picked me up from work and we drove up to Brea to meet my dad and sister for the night since they are in town. We went to Buca di Beppo for dinner then went to the Brea Improv for a great show. My sister and I had been wanting to see this comedian for awhile and we lucked out that he was in town while she was here!
Saturday drove up to my parents house in the IE to spend more time with dad and sis. My cousins came up for dinner and had a great time hanging out with everyone.
Sunday left the IE and drove to Huntington Beach for my sorority sister's bridal shower. I'm bummed that I won the raffle to take one of the pretty centerpieces home but I totally forgot to grab it on my way out!
Today I have to work late but I'm soo hoping this week goes by fast!
I had the same thought and was horribly disappointed when I actually had to get up.
