We put in an offer on our neighbor's house today!
It's a short sale, so it's a gamble, but we hope it works out.
If it does, we'll be using it as a rental property.

I have no idea when we'll hear back. It could be 2, 3, 4+ months. We put our offer in just hours after the house went on the market, so I hope that works in our favor, but it's all up to the bank.
The sooner we hear back the better, because I want to take advantage of these low interest rates!
