Re: What are you looking fwd to this week?
DH is out of town till thursday- so i'm not looking forward to being a single mom, but the flip side of that is i have unsupervised shopping scheduled all week!
we're taking friday off to take the boy for his first haircut, then we're going to take the birthday boy to the zoo
friday night food prep & decorate for the party
saturday michael's 1st birthday party!
Tomorrow I am having a day at the spa thanks to my wonderful husband and his great birthday present idea. (and not working, another plus!)
Other than that, the weekend!
We are going on a field trip tomorrow, which is always "fun!"
I am excited for my sister's graduation this weekend! Is it Friday yet??
The weekend!
DH and I will have a booth for our rescue at a National Puppymill Awareness Event. For those interested - it's this Saturday from 10-4 at the fairgrounds in Syracuse (http://www.barkaroundtheworld.com/Bark_2010/Home.html). For those that don't know, more and more mills are popping up around upstate NY and in particular the Finger Lakes. It's a great event to network with rescues, find out about puppymills and what you can do to help.
After that, we're meeting up with a couple who is also adopting a child from Ethiopia from our agency. I then plan to sleep all day on Sunday!
This weekend is all a bunch of craziness. DH and I are babysitting my cousins at their house until Wednesay morning. I call it babysitting, but it's more just making sure the house doesn't burn down and they get onto the bus on time. They are 11, 14 and 16 so they are pretty self-sufficient which makes it easy. We're just staying at their house so we won't go home until Wednesday night pretty much.
On Thursday DH and I and the in-laws are flying out to DC for BIL's graduation from grad school and we are staying until Sunday.
Sunday we are also celebrating our first anniversary which I'm excited about.
Like I said, it's all craziness. Yikes!!!

I'm also looking forward to the weekend. (I feel guilty wishing days away, but OY is work stressful lately!) I am actually looking forward to Friday because as of right now I have no meetings scheduled and can do work. And I am excited because I think the weather is supposed to be nice this week. I love this time of year when it is warm but not super hot out.
