Cooking challenge for yall
I bought a bottle of dry shiraz tonight to use in my spaghetti sauce and only needed 1 cup of it. I am not a fan of dry red wine so I wont drink it, but I hate to throw it away.
Do yall have any recipes or ideas of how I can use the rest of the bottle?
BTW, we only eat chicken and turkey. That is the challenging part.

Do you ever make large batches of marinara sauce and freeze it in the proper portions? You can knock a lot of that shiraz out by doing that, even if you made a double batch. You would have plenty of pasta sauce on hand for a while.
I don't cook much with red wine so I can't really offer many other suggestions.
