Help me pick a gift for a nurse grad party!
My Sisters girlfriend( whom she has been with for 8 years, and they own a home together) just graduated from nursing school. My sister is throwing a party for her on Saturday. I know I don't have to bring a gift, but would like to give her something... what is appropriate? I don't want to give a little knick knack like the "hug a nurse" things from hallmark.
They also just had thier kitchen redone, so I was thinking of putting a nice basket together of hand towels, pot holders, etc.). I will also be baking cookies for the party. What to get for her?

Gift card to a scrub/medical supply store- that way if she needs a BP cuff, hemostats, scissors (I'm guess she already has a stethoscope) then she can get them. (fun scrubs would be great but more and more places are requiring specific colors for the staff)

This is a great idea! I'd guess she will be working a lot of long hours, so something relaxing would be a great way to treat her after all her hard work in school.
