As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW - House inspection!
I'm so excited; we had our house inspected yesterday. I wanted to make sure there isn't anything major we need to do, and if the inspection report comes out well, we can include it in the package and it will hopefully help make our house more attractive.
The report came out great!!! We did have one safety issue but it will be an easy fix (I guess the code is for your house to have 3 separate grounds and one of them is missing, so we need to add a wire and clamp), and a few other things that could be done but aren't necessary. We'll probably do those as well just so we can give them a copy of the inspection report with notes that the items were completed.
And the inspector was awesome, so thorough, and giving me advice on other things as he went along. He said our house is great and if he was looking for a split he would buy it himself (which my realtor says is saying a LOT). As part of that, he gave some advice on the backyard- said river rock would never stay up there and it really needs something with roots. He said the house itself is in such good shape and we've done so many updates ourselves that the backyard won't be a problem and just leave it as dirt; the buyer can take care of it. Yay!!! One less thing to worry about.
