So I'm going through my annual hair crisis where I feel an urgent need to change my hairstyle. I've been thinking about this look, but was wondering whether anyone has had it and/or has anything to say about it...
Thoughts?
Re: I need new hair.
That photo doesn't show up for me.
I also want to see what people come up with--I really need a hair update, too...

Updated 3-12
Really? It shows up for me...
How about this:
It's really thick, heavy, and a little wavy. But it's the shiny/silky kind of thick... not the frizzy/course kind of thick. (The last stylist I had said it's like I have a motherload of fine hair.) It hits about the collar bone in the front, and is barely touching the top of my shoulder blades in back.
Growing it out's not too bad... you'll just end up trimming more off the front than the back as it grows.
MY BLOG!
How about Cristina's hair?
or Kelly's?
I think it's cute, but if your hair is thick and heavy and wavy....your hair is not going to look like that. They would have to really thin it out to get it to style/lay like that, especially in the back. Can you maybe cut a few inches off and then add layers? That will add a different style/look but still be manageable (spelling?).
Maybe something like this? Then you won't have to spend a lot of time styling/flattening it...unless you want to.

Both cute... but my hair's not curly. And when I do curl my hair, it looks kinda weird on account of the shine. I think to achieve those looks on a daily basis would require too much morning maintenance.
When I say I have a little wave, I mean that it's one or two steps up from pencil straight.
How would one achieve that look? Curl, then tease?
About the posh haircut... I had that, I think like 2 years ago. As soon as I got it cut, I started planning on growing it back out. I agree with pp, it was nice for the summer, it's just REALLY severe. And you can't do much with your hair. And I'm not someone who wants to wear their hair the same every day. Nicole Ritchie has an intermediate haircut... it's an angled bob, but not as severe.

Looks a little more sophisticated, and gives you more freedom. That's my recommendation:)
Haha. Great minds! I mean, if you're willing to try something new, I totally understand and support that. I just thought the Nicole Ritchie bob might be an in between step, in case you were nervous about the Posh bob. Currently, I'm rocking the Rhianna bob, which I like for the most part, but recently my forehead has been getting really hot under all those bangs!

I'm no fashion guru by any means, but this cut seems really popular right now. Just sayin.
