that I am so happy we all get along on here. I went to a board the other day I have lurked for a while and I decied to say hello and introduce myself. I got all kinds of rude remarks! Ugh....::stays on Bama Board forever::

Oh yeah and because I was the second Erin I was told to change my name or leave.

    That's why I only lurk on the national boards.  The only one I ever post on is Military Newlyweds, but I still lurk there more.  That's one of the nicest national boards on the nest in my opinion.  There has been some drama in the past but nothing like what we see on other boards.

    Oh, i totally agree! I never go to other boards anymore. The other boards are not accepting at all of anyone new or anyone who might think different than the 'norm' It's so teenage years all over again!

    I couldn't agree more.  I really enjoy this board and getting to know everyone one it.  SOme of the other boards can be down right mean when new people introduce themselves!!!  YAY for the Alabama Nesties!!!

    daayyuumm! i can't believe they were so rude to you. i agree, i'm so glad everyone here is so great!! :) even on the regular nest boards they get kind of catty. i hate that!

    Man that was rude.  But yeah I totally agree with you.  I only post on this board and the Bama baby board.  I lurk on the GP board, but I am too afraid to post anything because wow they can get catty.  I think when I finally get pregnant I might try the trimester boards because overall they are fairly nice from what I have seen.  Oh and the D&R board from what I have seen is fairly nice as well.  I don't get those "cliques" on the national boards.  It does remind me of high school.  No thanks to that, I graduated 10 years ago!

    i got that from the other boards too...i was so glad when someone met me on a national board and told me to come over...i haven't been back since.

    Did you tell them your momma gave you that name and you aren't changing it now?!!?!?!?  That's just unnecessary.

    I only post on D&R and they are great over there but that's the only other board I go to. 

    I agree most of the others are snarky and they act like they are in HS.

    I have to remind myself that these women are adults with sad lives otherwise I would say things that I shouldn't.
