What do you have going on this week?
Besides work, we're trying to figure out my new car. My car's lease is up at the end of the summer and DH is against leasing cars so we're in arguments of buying vs leasing and the cost of buying a car. We have an ideal price range we'd like to stay within but it just seems that monthly payment for even lower-end (I hate saying that phrase) is still just more than we were looking to spend.
Random question: If you won the lottery, what would you do with the winnings?
Definitely pay off our house/car, spend a little on fun activities (vacation, boat, etc) and then the rest would go into savings and investments. I've watched WAY too many of those shows where people won the lottery and wasted it all and ended up declaring bankruptcy.
What do you have going on this week?
Work, homework, heading out of town on Friday to a wedding and get to see some friends and family.

Pay off cars, buy a house, vacation, and put a large portion of it in to high yield savings account.

This week pack and move. We are doing the big move this weekend. I did the name change this today. It took all day! And inbetween, I'm going to do a little work and research.
If I won the lottery, we'd buy a house, buy DH a new jeep, go on an awesome vacay and put some in his business, and invest the rest. Don't want it to all run out!
What do you have going on this week?
This week we are working diligently on our house to get it finished by the end of the month. There is still a ton of painting to be done, but hopefully DH and I will knock that out before he has to leave for work Thursday.
Random question: If you won the lottery, what would you do with the winnings?
Depending on how much we won, we would pay off all debt, including car. Buy me a nice little SUV and build us a house. We would probably take a couple of trips as well, but nothing to outrageous. If we have an exorbitant amount left over, we would then give some money to my parents, and my MIL. The rest would go into college funds for our kids and we would invest some.
Although, DH and I would continue to work, I don't want to be like those people you see on TV claiming bankruptcy because they blew all of their money.
This week, I'm getting the first ultrasound tomorrow. I'm a little nervous and really hoping we can see the heartbeat
Other than that, we're just working and relaxing this weekend.
If we won the lottery, depending on how much we win, we would invest some, get DH a new car, pay off student loans/my car, get a house and splurge the rest.
This week: Nothing exciting. I gave the cat her weekly bath this afternoon and the dog will get one when I take my shower tonight after dinner. Just working on a lot of stuff around the house. I HAVE to weed our garden - it's totally out of control.
If I won the lottery....
Buy a house. We rent now and live in an area that will (likely) forever be outside of our price range for the space we need in the neighborhood we want to raise our (not yet conceived) children. And new cars since our cars are both well aged. The rest would go into investments and such. Like pp have said, I don't want to be the horror bankruptcy story.
Plans for Week: Tomorrow nite we're meeting with photographer to put together first draft of the album....oh and LOST is on tomorrow!
other than that, lots of work. Saturday I'm going for a quick trip to Florida with my dad. He's going back, and I'm going to scope some real estate and do some work down there.
If I won the lottery (and we're talking PowerBall or MegaMillions, right ?!?)
a) pay off the house & credit card
b) treat myself to the maserati I've always wanted...and buy a honda pilot SUV
c) invest in hubby's business
d) pay off my brother's MBA education
e) go live at the Golden Door or Canyon Ranch for about two months. come out looking fabulous
f) invest a hefty portion into municipal bonds/low risk stocks and securities. live off the interest
g) start a charitable foundation
h) since we're talking mega millions...buy a gorgeous apartment in NYC...he'll want tribeca...I'd want west side/central park.
This week: Job hunting for both of us and apartment hunting!
If we won the lottery we would pay off our school loans and buy a house. After that we would probably put it in a savings account and start a family!
This week: Instead of having class, I have to go to Senior Award Night on Wednesday. On Thursday DH is throwing me a little birthday dinner which I am super excited for.
If I won the lottery: I would pay off all of our debts and probably take a vacation. I don't know what I would do with the money left. Save it I guess.

Met with our accountant last night which made me feel really old, I have my Book Club Meeting tomorrow night (I host this month), My TY cards are supposed to arrive in the mail this week so hopefully I can get started on those!
Random question: If you won the lottery, what would you do with the winnings?
- Pay off H's student loans and put money away for both of us to go to Grad school. I would also put money into a college fund for my younger siblings since my parent's paid for my schooling.
- Pay off our car and upgrade. Maybe get H a car, although we are against being a two car family it's kind of pointless living in a city.
- Buy a condo downtown Edmonton, as an investment property since they are building a new arena for the Oilers/entertainment complex in the next 5 years. Buy a house in Ontario and NH.
-Travel
- Put the rest in savings/investments etc.!

What do you have going on this week?
I'm mailing out my college graduation party invites tomorrow, so I printed those and had lunch with my younger sister today. Thursday I have my interview and lil sis graduates from highschool! I don't know where the time went!
If you won the lottery, what would you do with the winnings?
Pay off my credit card, buy a house, and put at least half in some kind of savings or investment account. Oh, and buy a nice camera.
