One thing you wish you could do...
What is one thing (or more than one thing) you wish you knew how to do? I wish I could dance... like really dance. I have no rythmn (sp?) so I could never get good at dancing, but I want to be able to dance to all types of music. I just love how fun it is and how sexy/passionate it can be.
Ok... now it's your turn....
Re: One thing you wish you could do...
I always wanted to play the piano. I was very into ballet as a child/teen and always wanted to be able to sit down and play the piano in the studio.
My mom started me in dance lessons at a very young age b/c she had always wanted to take them as a child (they were very poor and lived in a rural area so it would have been impossible) She would not have made me continue if I didn't like them so much (my sister didn't enjoy them and quit at about age 7) but it's still interesting she picked that b/c of her own childhood dreams. I found myself doing the same thing b/cjust the other day I was asking DH if we could buy a piano so Jack could take lessons!!
I wish I could do math in my head. I understand how math works and I can figure out complicated problems with a calculator, but without one I have trouble just calculating a tip. It's almost like I have number dyslexia -- I can't keep track of what I'm adding/subtracting/dividing and I get really confused. It makes me feel like such an idiot sometimes.
Dancing is a good one! I used to be in dance as a kid and I can rock a dance routine if it's given to me to learn, but I can't just free dance to anything out on the floor. It's weird.
I also wish I knew how to cook. MH does all the cooking (he actually loves it and is really good at it), but I would love to be able to just WOW him with an awesome meal other than Chicken Parm or Lemon Chicken
Granted, that is one thing I have really been working on (trying new recipes). Someday.

I wish I still played the piano. I used to sing and accompany myself and that was something I was known for! Now, not so much.
I wish I could run. Like... for more than 10 minutes.

I wish my body worked like a Cirque du Soleil acrobat. They make everything look so fun... yet simple... like we should all be able to fly through the air and do tricks. When I try to do simple gymnastics, it is not comfortable! Not easy! I feel like I've wasted a body.

These are all great!! Like many of you, I wish I could sing as well. I have a really deep voice (ok, it's not freakishly deep but still) so my singing abilities are very limited - especially for the more catchy songs. Doesn't stop me from singing, nor does my lack of rythmn and dancing abilities stop me from dancing silly on the dance floor or in the car.
Oh and I wish I could cook (I wish I had the desire to cook - with as much as I LOVE to eat I don't understand it) and I wish I was more creative. I try so hard but I often have to find projects online and try my hardest to replicate them. I'm not good at coming up with artsy stuff on my own, even though I wish I was.
