Anyone wanna help with DIY curtain rods?
I'm planning to do curtains this weekend, but I don't want to spend the $$ for curtain rods so I'm trying to find a good DIY alternative. Anyone wanna help? I haven't picked out fabric yet for the curtains (I'm doing kitchen and livingroom), but I do know that I want the rods to have an oil-rubbed bronze look. Oh, and I don't like fancy-schmancy finials. The plainer, the better for me. Also, I'd like the total cost of materials to be under $50 for both rooms. Any brilliant ideas and/or tutorials?

I'm still looking but I thought this branch was a cute idea

This one is copper
I have seen other people use pvc pipe and spray paint it the color they want.
Looks like that is exactly what I'm going to do! This tutorial makes me feel at ease putting my own spin on curtain rods. So cheap and so easy!
