I think I still have a ton of my children's books from when I was little...but here a just a few favorites...
That slug book is hysterical/gross! I must have read it 500 times. I also had a huge set of sesame street books that have since been thrown out, they were destroyed between me and my 2 nephews.
Although I no longer have anything from when I was a kid, because the lady who birthed me is a douche, here are the ones I did like:
Yes, I was quite the book wh0re when I was a child.
Well actually my Grandmother still has it. She would always ask me what book I wanted her to read to me when I went to bed, when I was at her house, and I would always say this one. She got so tired of it but she always read it to me.
I also liked this one.
I LURVE this book! Has to be an all time favorite!!! The one that is the most meaniful to me is:
It's the first book I remember reading to my Daddy!
This was my favorite but I dont have any of my massive book collection that my mother personally wrote in every single book she ever bought for us because my step father is a complete waste of air.
This is seriously the most boring book ever. My mom hated reading it to me, but I loved it as a kid. It's about a man who lives way out in the woods alone and he runs out of food so he eats things he find in nature.
The only ones I still have:
I had completely forgotten about this book!! I wonder if my mom still has it...
this is a good one! I love the drawings. . .there is another one by this author about a little house on a hill .. .can't remember what it is called.
this one!!
And as I got older:
These are ALL great!! I think there's only 2 on the list I didn't have/read.
Cassie - I loved that boring book too lol!
oh I loved this book! I used to "play" Little House on the Prairie with my friends. The idea of living in a covered wagon was top notch!
SD has the dvds and we're watching them... I remember the crush I had on Almanzo and Albert. SD was getting mad cause I kept calling him Alfonso!
I loved those books!
I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I have read this series of books!
This is the book my mom used to teach me to read!
I just ordered these for my BFF's daughter's 4th birthday. I loved these when I was her age.
duuuuuuuudes these are all great! Secret garden was my life. My uncle gave it to me and wrote on the inside. I sitll have it and its all falling apart its been read so many times.
Also Poky little puppy. LOVED it!! In fact I have a poky little puppy shirt I wear around the house
