Okay! So it looks like Carrie, Gerrie, Jill, Terri, Marissa and Pammy- in addition to myself- would be game!
So let's talk detes!
1) When works for you?
2) DHs? Kiddies? Yes/No?
3) What type of activity would you like?
Re: f/u to NYC GTG
If the date just so happens to fall on my one weekend off this summer, I'd seriously consider flying out for the day. Especially if you're meeting in Manhattan.
margaritas in mexico
I can do the last 3 weekends in July and any weekend in August. Before that is a no go unless its a Friday. I have off every Friday from June 25 through August 13th.
I dont think DH would come up. Hes not a big fan of NYC. But I think we should bring the boys. Yay! We all have boys! Well, as of right now. Come on Terri! Round out the North East Boys!
There is only 1 thing Chase will insist on doing and thats the Statue of Liberty. He has been begging for it for years.
Chase and I will more than likely be coming up by train because I dont feel comfortable driving all the way to the city and driving in the city alone with Chase. Plus it will be much cheaper.
Terri, that sounds perfect. Safety in numbers. I would feel so much better traveling up there with you guys than alone with Chase. Please dont mind the way my kid is dressed though. Im sure he will be wearing a rediculously loud shirt. Im terrified of loosing him somewhere so when we go to places with big crowds I make him wear something that stands out so if we get seperated I can find him easily. Plus Im getting him dog tags with all my important info in case he gets lost. Good thing he still likes to hold my hand.
I'm not sure when my sister plans on having my nieces bday party but other than that we are free most every weekend (except for July 11th i have a bridal shower to go to) Serg probably wouldn't want to come and I'd also take the train into Penn Station bc I dont drive in NYC. I'm down for anything as long as it's not too much money
Unless of course you decide on a Mets game (GO YANKEES!) :oP
huh? say wha?
Sorry! The comment was made in a totally sarcatic tone. DH is very anti NY sports teams, and I would get a bunch of sh!t if I went to a game in NY unless they were playing the Phillies, which would never happen again until they go head to head in the World Series again.
* wipes sweat from brow * he he I was trying to put two and two together.
Dont you worry Christina. Our relationship is more solid and happier now than it ever has been in the last 5 years. We are doing just wonderfully.
I don't know where my post went :-( I vote for no baseball. I am a true hater and don't want to give any of my hard-earned to the evil empire.
I am up for whateva. I am so happy about this.
I think the Central Park Zoo could be a lot of fun. I've actually never been.
Since I live here we can use my place as a central point to meet and leave things if people don't want to lug around bags or babygear or whatever.
Matt will most likely not be joining us.
Yes I was totally thinking Central Park too! ooooo this is exciting!
