So I just had to fire two of my employees, who are both high school age. I seriously get more nervous firing people their age than I do an adult because I hate their attitudes and I know once they start giving me attitude I'd love to give it right back to them and be as unprofessional about it as I can! But I refrained from being immature!
Now that it's all said and done I'm over the whole nervousness but I hate how I got all worked up about it. And I hate how I now have to interview more high schoolers in order to replace them. Seriously, do youngsters not take jobs seriously anymore?!?
Thanks for the vent.
Re: I'm not Donald Trump....
My dad still gets physically ill any time he has to fire someone.
As far as the attitude, I work with 2 girls who are 28 and 25 and still act like they're in high school. I'm sorry you have to deal with it.
