Anyone live in Fuquay-Varina or Apex, NC?
Hello, I was wondering if there were any girls on here that have lived or currently live in Fuquay or Apex? My husband and I currently live in Raleigh but are thinking of possibly moving. I am wondering if I will miss Raleigh since everything is so accessible. We have been around Fuquay and Apex and both have really cute downtowns. Let me know what you!
Jo Ellen :-)
Re: Anyone live in Fuquay-Varina or Apex, NC?
Me! DH and I bought a house in Fuquay almost a year ago (June 1 will be a year) We LOVEE it here! It's got the small town quiet affect, but there's still a ton of things going on and honestly the drive back to Raleigh isn't bad at all.
They're trying to finish HWY 55 (They have to cross railroad tracks or something) and once that happens it'll be even easier to get to Raleigh, or so we've been told.
We've also found the everyone is pretty friendly too, so that was a plus :-)
If you have any questions I'd be happy to help you with them :-)
Edit: Also, did you just look at the 'Fuquay' side of downtown? There's also a 'Varina' side which is really cute and nifty too!
DH and I live just north of Fuquay and love it. Before moving, we were in Cary. I miss the convenience of Cary at times, but that's about it. Where we are now, we're still not too far from anything. It's peaceful, quiet and just a different atmosphere. Everyone waves!
Apex is a great town too. DH and I just didn't like the lot sizes of the houses we were looking at. We're on an acre now.
