Anyone interested in a GTG?

Is anyone interested in a gtg? Let me know if you are and if you have any ideas!

EDIT: Add the day/time that is best for you and I will set up another poll calender.

    This!

  • I'd be interested.  I think early to mid-June would be perfect.
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday work best for me...

Have you ever heard of "Painted Earth"? It is like Color me mine. A new one just opened in menifee. On the Friday the 30th they have a "Ladies Night" with 1/2 price studio fee! http://www.paintedearthpottery.com/cal_menifee.html

  • I am pretty new and have never done a GTG...might be fun
  • So what area or city would be a central place for everyone?

That looks cool but also a highly skilled talent. Have you done it before?

  • Would love to, but am crazy busy the next couple of months, so it depends on time and location.

I used to throw pottery in High school and believe me no talent required, lol! At painted earth there is the option to throw pottery, but also to buy a pre-thrown piece and decorate it... they even have kids parties there :)  Its fun, and I sent them an email asking if they allow people to bring wine- that would definitely make it more fun, lol!

I'll look into other things going on in the IE... see if we can come up with something more central in the near future! :)

  • Since there are alot of new people, maybe just dinner/drinks? Is Riverside fairly central?
  • I'm all for Riverside but that's because I live there. :D  I am willing to drive if needed.

I tried pottery once in college and was horrible. One of only two classes I ever drop in school. Painting seems more reasonable. We are always up to try something new, money permitting. Keep the ideas coming
