How much TV do you watch? I probably average 2 hours a night. I am trying to be better about getting stuff done before I let myself sit down on the couch. We put the TV on a lot for background noise.
What is your favorite TV show? I don't know if I have one right now. It used to be Gossip Girl but it's been kind of hit or miss this season. I always look forward to Lost.
Do you watch shows live, on DVR, or on DVD? DVR has saved my life. I rarely watch anything live anymore except for random HGTV shows or sports.
Did any of your favorite shows get cancelled this year? I liked the "new" Scrubs and was kind of bummed that they let it fizzle out. And Lost didn't really get cancelled but obviously is ending. I think everything else I watch regularly is coming back.
What show are you ashamed to admit to watching but love it anyway? Real World/Road Rules Challenge. I have no idea why I keep watching, but I can't look away!
Do you watch less TV in the summer after the traditional season is over? I think so, partly due to not having my regular shows sucking me in, and partly due to the nice weather and wanting to be outside. I watch a lot of Red Sox games when I do turn the TV on.
Do you prefer network programming or cable? I watch mostly network stuff. I would be fine without the cable channels except for NESN, but of course you have to buy them all to get one. I do appreciate having HGTV and the Food Network, and my DH loves ESPN.
What was your favorite show to watch when you were a kid? When I was super little it was Sesame Street. In elementary school I looooooved Hey Dude. I would watch every day on TBS.
What show do you watch that DH doesn't like? Fringe, although I think DH doesn't want to get sucked in more than he doesn't like it.
What show does your DH watch that you don't like? Any poker tournament, ugh. Those put me right to sleep.
How much TV do you watch? ~2-3 hours/ night.... I'm doing other things and rarely sit still during the shows. I have it on in the background
What is your favorite TV show? Currently, Parenthood... or The Office.

Did any of your favorite shows get cancelled this year? Law & Order is being cancelled... I watch that but wouldn't say it's my favorite. Honestly, can't remember if things have been cancelled
What show are you ashamed to admit to watching but love it anyway? I never watched Real World until I met DH... so now I do... still... and Real Housewives of OC/NYC...
Do you watch less TV in the summer after the traditional season is over? They are coming up with some great summer shows recently-- but not as much as winter time probably.

What was your favorite show to watch when you were a kid? Life Goes On, Cosby... I'm sure there are others.

What show does your DH watch that you don't like? Most anything... I refuse to watch Hoarders and Intervention as I deal with that at work... and he loves it.
DH and I watched the Parenthood pilot. I thought it was really good, but it stressed him out and he said if I ever want to have kids he can not watch that show anymore. Oh well.
My DH travels so he hasn't been home when it's been on for the most part-- it's also on when V is on so when he's home I DVR Parenthood and watch V. DH also isnt traumatized by that stuff-- his mother is a teacher at an alternative middle/ high school and he saw/ heard of everything and anything possible.

How much TV do you watch? Barely any. We don't have cable anymore.
What is your favorite TV show? I like the Travel Channel, HGTV, shows on Comedy Central and classics like the Golden Girls.

What show are you ashamed to admit to watching but love it anyway? Real Housewives of NJ and NYC. I don't know when they're actually on though so I just kind of catch them at random on their constant re-runs on Bravo.

I don't think there is one. I say I don't like V but then I get into it. Together we like to watch Cougar Town and Modern Family

We don't either! A couple months ago they wanted to jack up our internet/cable package to $135! No, thanks I don't need cable that bad. We pay $50 now for just internet. For a good month though we still were getting the channels without the box, then one day the disappeared but we still pick up all the network stations.
How much TV do you watch? A lot, I usually have it on as background noise when I'm working at night too.
What is your favorite TV show? Glee really takes the cake for me. I also love How I Met Your Mother, Castle, Grey's, RHONY, 30 Rock, and The Dog Whisperer.
Do you watch shows live, on DVR, or on DVD? Usually DVR. We'll wait 15 or 20 minutes and then start the show so we can fast forward through the commercials.
Did any of your favorite shows get cancelled this year? I enjoyed Dollhouse but I wouldn't consider it a favorite.
